The Adult Carousel creates a scene reminiscent of a children's amusement park ride, yet it reveals the hidden evil of pedophilia. Through the combination of the carousel and adult faces, the piece symbolises these disguised "performers"—adults who appear harmless but are, in fact, cunning and hypocritical pedophiles hiding behind a mask of innocence.
The visuals are dominated by soft, candy-coloured tones, creating a dreamy atmosphere that represents how these adults use sweet words and deceptive tactics to manipulate children into silence. This project delves into the pervasive hypocrisy of modern society, exposing the moral decay and darkness lurking beneath its polished exterior.
